post a while back, 3 teenagers forced their way into my home hit me over then one of them put a gun to my forehead then robbed me of several firearms. I thought once his bond was denied that was it until his trial
I got a call today that on Monday he can apply for Bond again. I have had anxiety all day.
Please pray for my and my daughter that his bond is denied once again. It has affected me in ways I never thought possible. My daughter who Thank God was not here when it happened still has anxiety attacks because of this event.
Thank you for all of your prayers last time. Please let God know we don’t want this thug on our streets.

My overwhelming advice is just make a plan in your head about what exactly you're going to do about what happens if worst case comes to pass and this kid is released and he does come for you. Plan ahead.
The Castle Doctrine states that once a person crosses your threshold he is fair game. He's already shown what's he's about; if he does it again, know exactly what you're going to do.
It's terrible and unimaginably stressful to have to live that way, day in, day out, with the blinds drawn, on high alert, doors triple-bolted, knowing there are people out there who intend you and your family harm. I know. I've done it. You don't sleep well, some night barely at all. You never relax. You feel a constant state of dread. You feel a constant state of siege, sick to your stomach, wound up.
Get an exercise bike. Stay on it. Don't let stress be the thing that kills you. There's some basic discrete electronics you can hook up right to your phone now that are very small, very cheap, that give you a 360 view of your house; you can find 'em on-line or at Home Depot. If you can see what's out there at all times that helps a LOT.
In your case, there's an end date this: his trial. He's a violent offender; it sounds like he's going to do hard time unless the prosecutor is just totally incompetent. I might consider getting a calendar, mark it off, and take it a day at a time.
Keep your family safe. Keep the cops on speed-dial. Keep your game-plan in mind. Stay vigilant but stay as relaxed as possible...again, stay on an exercise bike, work out, make sure you're shedding as much stress as possible because that'll eat you up worse than anything. And know exactly what you'll do if he'll comes bursting through your door again. Know where your defense is, have everything ready and planned ahead of time. Remember, your house is your castle...and you're entitled to protect it the second he crosses your threshold. Hopefully it won't come to that but I would make the decision exactly what you'll do if it does beforehand.
And stay strong. It's never fun...but it does have an end date, and it does not go on forever. (It just feels that way when you're down in it.)

wueagle, just stop worrying about what the system may or may not do with the criminals that robbed you, and start planning for what you must do if they ever come back. Arm yourself to the teeth, and blow their fringing heads off if they are stupid enough to come back.
Get yourself an 18 inch barrel pump 12 gage loaded with double 00 buckshot, and a Smith & Wesson M&P 40 cal, and go take the test for your carry permit, and don't worry another second about the punk/punks. It's up to you to protect you and yours. Police only arrest folks that has done something wrong, and that's a little to late after they have harmed you, it up to you to have them put in a body bag, and not the other way around!!!!

So sorry this happened to you, my daughter was raped at gun point 8 years ago & is still suffering the effects. I can relate, it was all I could do to keep from killing this guy who was at the time a Bank President. Justice sometimes has to be given to God to avenge.

Unpopular opinion maybe beyond great advice already given, but you likely need to consider counseling. Not my first inclination personally, but hostage situations, assault, etc is pretty serious stuff to deal with from a PTSD standpoint.
