Georgia Department of Transportation officials Tuesday said they expect to reopen I-85 in Buckhead by June 15.
GDOT is using contracting incentives and other means to expedite reconstruction of one of the main highways into the heart of Atlanta, officials said at a press conference Tuesday morning.

Granted public schools are on spring break this week, but from talking to others their commute in has been about the same, if not better than usual.
I think the combination of people staying home, taking alternate routes or taking MARTA have really helped alleviate a lot of the predicted mess.

285 top end is heavier than normal all day long.

Also 285 south on the west side where people get on i-20 to go west sucks. That whole interchange should have been updated years ago.

The 400-285 interchange is pretty bad too but they are starting a rebuild of it. The designer of the 20/285 interchange on the west side needs kicked in the balls.
