How would you rate UNC vs Atlantic teams?

Just wondering, since it appears we will meet them in Charlotte, how tough of a game it will be. Especially with them getting better- and drake maye.

Not sure. Their QB seems to be very good at game management. Don't think the defense is much to write about but, they will be up for this game.

Not sure I'd call the QB with #8 yards and #2 TDs in the nation "good at game management". Drake Maye could very likely get an invite to NYC for the Heisman

LOL…guess we will have a better measuring stick when we have common opponents. None so far, but 5 by the end of the season. Maye is really good, but they have zero defense. I think our D is up to the test.

It will be our toughest defensive game of the year. They play Wake and State later so we will get an idea then.

I'd say they're closer to Wake than anyone else really. Can't really say they're closer to anyone else in the identity aspect.

Now where would I place them in the Atlantic? Don't really know until they play Wake. I want to say they would finish 4th in the Atlantic side behind Clemson, Wake, and *insert whatever 3rd team finishes there*. If State was healthy and had their QB Leary, then I'd say that'd be a good dog fight of a game but now it's almost guaranteed UNC will win that one.

They lost to Notre Dame at home 45-32
They beat Miami on the road 27-24

Before the season started, I figured they were about middle of the ACC. As far as the Atlantic teams, I would say, right now, 3rd and 4th if Leary wasn't hurt at NC State. All that is going to shake out the next 2 to 3 weeks when Wake, NC State and UNC all play each other.

Mixed in the Cuse/Wake/State pack. But would be at risk to an FSU. I think Wake is all-around better. I think if State was healthy, I would bet on State's defense. I think it would be fun but UNC is likely better than Cuse. If FSU was motivated, they could beat UNC but mostly assume them to be a underdog. UNC's worst could be tripped up by UofL.
If they played in the Atlantic (at current standings) they would have played the 7th, 5th, and 3rd place team. They would have BC, UofL and Wake. I see them 2-1 in that list. They would still have Cuse, Clemson, State, and FSU to go. So basically the hardest stretch based on history.

But, who have they played to date that one would say, "was a test"?

They got lucky and beat Duke: "yep, I actually watched that game"!
To answer your question: " they would finish right behind FSU if they were in the Atlantic"!
