Every team has a cold game. Unfortunately the whole team was in the ice age. Some players found out that they need to work on parts of their game. Bottom line is we have a difficult early league schedule. Better to finish strong. Go Tigers!

I wonder if we've ever won a modern day game making only one 3 pter - that was crazy to watch today. I was more surprised we were still in it up to the closing minutes based on the box stats.
Anyhow, a lot of games to be played still so hoping we start a new streak to build some confidence before we hit Duke.
If we went 5-1 (competitive loss to Duke) the rest of the month that'd be fine. Hopefully we'll see Clark and Hemingway make their 2024 debut as I think having them back will definitely make a positive difference moving forward.

I would have sent Brad packing several years ago, but this loss was not about poor coaching. I was there . I'm not sure what some of y'all watched
We hustled, played strong defense with 9 blocked shots and had just a handful of turnovers. UNC had more rebounds, but we missed a lot of shots.
We shot as poorly as I can remember. The only game I've witnessed where the shooting was as bad was UK vs Georgetown in the 1984 Semi Final. UK was 3/33 in the second half and no starter made a bucket in the second half.Joe B Hall was not a good coach in my opinion, but he had nothing to do with that shooting performance. Likewise in the next game Villanova shot 78% from the floor and beat Georgetown by 2 points.
Sometimes you can't buy a bucket, other times you seemingly can't miss. That's on the players for the most part.
1 for 18 from 3 will not win ever. That's unlikely to happen again. You can say we should have gone inside more, but those were not easy buckets either. The refs were letting them push and shove a lot.
It was just a bizarre poor shooting afternoon, but the guys played hard and it was still a contest with a little over 3 minutes to go. So I guess Hubert Davis really showed out in the last 3+ minutes?
PJ missed 2 free throws that were big and again most of the 3 misses weren't all that contested or terrible misses, we just couldn't knock them down.
This is still a good team and if they don't lose their confidence, they will win a lot of the games remaining.

I honestly did not think this team was capable of shooting so poorly from 3 point range. Clemson needs to set more picks to get more open looks. Many of the UNC game shots were put up very late in the time clock and were forced 3s. We need to play better on D as well.
Plenty of season left and I think they will finish strong.
