Yes the truth does hurt! Just like an SC fan told me after the game, "You know you just can't spell CLEMSON without L-O-S-E!" I mean, what could I say? I just told him that we might not be able to beat their football team for the past five years, but at least we were still morally superior to them in our minds.

if spurrier didnt make that backhanded slap of a comment he made about clemson before hand so whats ur point
its not like he went out of his way to bash carolina unprovoked
and nothing he said was untrue so thats probably why it really got to you guys as much as it did..
u own us right now and have been better than us for 5 seasons but clemsons lead in the series is substantial and clemson has been the better program for 100 or so years
u guys want so badly for a 5 game streak to erase a 100 year history but it doesn't..its impressive but it is what it is
btw its not like clemson will never beat carolina again and its amusing how ur fans act like u will now dominate the series forever..uve had ur best run in program history but its going to turn around..especially since clemson consistently outrecruits you every year...never fails
i woudnt be shocked if we rattle off 4 or 5 in a row within the next decade honestly
there are no more clowneys coming ur way anytime soon, if ever, he was not the norm

Someone else said it, and it was incorrectly attributed to Spurrier, and Dabo took that and ran with it.
Spurrier has definitely said other negative things about us, but that was not one of them.

any football fan with half a brain knows clemson dominates the overall series, that usc is the trojans, and that the paw is a national brand where as ur chicken is not..no need to rehearse that
whether or not spurrier said that idk but i could see him saying it then denying the crap out of it..espn still attributes those words to his mouth as this past friday before the game
not to mention when dabo was asked the question he had no way of knowing if he in fact did not say it..there was nothing wrong with what he said
