consider rehiring him a few years later and say you are vetting him....Does NOBODY there remember a wrecked motorcyle and a butt whippin' ? LOL....I guess losing for some overcomes any hesitation over character or integrity.

I remember in the 90s when College Gameday would come to Clemson, Kirk Herbstreet would always be at Tigertown.
My proudest moment at Clemson (one of them at least) was working the door at Tigertown in 1998 shortly after G Tech beat us at Death Valley and Matt Kuchar tried to get in with a fake ID later that night and I kept it and sent him away. I probably should have let him in but he was wearing G Tech gear.

You are correct... it wasn't college gameday but in the 90s he would come to town with Musburger and call the games. he called a good bit of our night games after they split up after the show was over.
