It’s not about winning and losing anymore… it’s about how highly the teams you play are perceived. The ACC is perceived to be no good. The SUC is perceived to be great from top to bottom, thus a losing conference record means nothing in the tournament seeding. It’s a joke. They can literally rig the system to make any conference look better than they are. The same thing happened last year.

Well when we did so bad in the acc sec challenge it kinda ruined our perception of being as good as the sec.

I actually get those 2 being seeded close to us! They're 2 very good teams & have more Quad 1 wins than we do. At least I think they do. What I don't get is how Okla is on the bubble?? They've won, wait for it.......... 25 % of their conf games!!! TWENTY FIVE PERCENT!!!!

In addition to being similarly ranked in KenPom, both Mizou(15) and A&M(20) are similar to Clemson(22) in NET Ranking. Mizzou doesn't have any quad 2, 3 or 4 losses; and A&M doesn't have any quad 3 or 4 losses and only 2 quad 2. Plus, in addition to going 14-2 in the SEC/ACC Challenge, the SEC is 31-3 overall vs the ACC on the season. Last place SEC South Carolina went 3-0 vs the ACC, including winning vs the 2nd place team (you guys), beating mid-pack VT by 10 on a neutral court, and blasting BC by 22 on the road. As for Oklahoma, they beat 2nd place Louisville on a neutral floor and beat GT by double digits at home. They are 50 in NET and 44 in KenPom with only 1 Q2 and 1 Q3 loss.
Maybe the SEC will collapse in the tourney, but until that happens, most neutral observers are willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
