I once saw 2 at the Independence Bowl

My nephew and I were driving to Texas to see our CFP game against ND in Dallas and decided to make an overnight stop in Shreveport to catch the Duke vs. Temple Independence Bowl. I wanted to see Geoff Collins coach and I like football, so there's the justification. Anyway, there were about 15 people in the stands. We were sprawled out comfortably on the 50 and there were 2 people about 5 rows behind us wearing Duke basketball sweatshirts.

We were cheering for Duke, because why not? That couple behind us never made a sound. Finally, in the second half, I turned around after a Duke first down and said "This is the part where you cheer." They both thanked me and began taking visual clues from me. Turns out they had never understood when they were supposed to yell since the goal didn't have a net and there was no visible 3 point line anywhere on the field.

Anyway, that's the story of how I once met 2 Duke fans.
