I have lived in both NC and SC. In basketball, you might have a point. In football, it's not even close. SC vs Clemson. By a mile.

I think a 3-way tie of one-loss teams may create an opening for us, too. For example, if we run the table and NC St has 1 conference loss to Wake (and Wake no other conference losses), we'd all be tied. It's just too early to map out all the scenarios, but they exist.

NC State usually loses a couple of games they shouldn't.
Of course, if they go undefeated in the ACC or only have one loss, they probably deserve to go to the ACC championship game.

I could totally see us averaging 14 points a game, winning out, and everyone else losing 2 games while averaging more than 14 points a game . Tony Elliott has proven he will do more with less talent than everyone else

He's certainly doing less with MORE talent right now. For the last however many years, he's had a bevy of 4 and 5* to play with. I'm not really sure when he was responsible for "more with less". I'll be there in the stands rain or shine forever, but I'm not going to wear my orange-tinted glasses and pretend that anything we've done this year is anything but ####. "A few errors" does not put you worse than 100th in every offensive category when you were expected to be top 5.

No - 80+ plays on our D will wear them down. If our offense doesn’t get fixed, we’ll lose at least a couple more.

Question is who are we going to lose to? Unless you see a dramatic improvement or a total retooling of the offense this weekend Boston College could double our scoring output.

Ain't gonna happen because we will probably lose at least 2 more games. DJ's major problems cannot be fixed during the season. Same for the O-line.
Let's just take it one game at a time and forget about NC State.

It puzzles me as to why people think NCSU will not have any more losses. They will lose 2 or 3 more then we may too. Way too early to be worried about it.

The bigger question is what we will do.
NCSU is having trouble putting the ball in the end zone….only 14 regulation points against us and 10 at Miss. State. Their D will play better offenses than us. And they are NC State…they almost gave that game away to us…there are others who will take it when they do that. Plus, get them on the road and see what happens.
At this point, it’s all about beating BC and getting to the BYE week to regroup. Nothing else really is worth worrying about.

Wake UNC BC & Louisville are the four teams they could lose to.
We better win though. I’m not sure we don’t lose another game or two the way we’ve been playing. Starts with this weekends game. BC will come ready!
