You all recall that Death Valley did not have lights until the 1980's, so almost every home game started at 1:00 pm on Saturdays before the lights were installed. The football program started a resurgence in 1977, which was the same year as the release of the "Saturday Night Fever" movie.
I was a boy in middle school at the time. One of the men I looked up to in our community had a green and black 1970 Chevelle SS on which he had the bumper sticker:
CLEMSON FOOTBALL
Saturday Afternoon Fever
I wish I had a copy of the actual bumper sticker or at least a picture of it, but I cannot find it. It would no longer resonate with most people because our games are often played at night and (unfortunately) on Thursdays and Fridays sometimes.
So, if anyone has a picture of that old bumper sticker, I would be grateful to have it.

Only our away games are played at night. We get about 1 home night game per year (if we're lucky). If we weren't a top 5 team, I'm not sure we'd get any.

I had the "Honk if you've never won a bowl game" on my car for a few years, it was my absolute favorite. I was highly annoyed when I had to remove it after they beat WVU in whatever bowl that was.
I also have the "definition of gross ignorance: 144 USC Students" sticker still stuck on a footlocker.

I know this is not Clemson related but NCS had a good one in the late 70's. It went "If God made the sky Carolina blue, it was his only mistake!
A Clemson one in the same area was "If UNC is so good, why are they in Orange County?
