Bad info. The coaches press conference was cancelled because both coaches were out on the recruiting trail. It was bad programming/timing on the orange bowl part.

Norville needs to cool it. Enough of the temper tantrum. You have the opportunity to play a playoff caliber team. Rally your guys and prove the committee wrong. You can bet Kirby does not want a second loss. Or can do like you did us during Covid and wimp out to keep from getting a but whipping.

What Norville and Kirby Smart should do is take their teams to the orange bowl and only play their bottom of the roster players, players that don't and probably want ever get a chance to play in a game. When the game is over, collect their checks and go home without risking any starters or 2nd team players in that game. No player that I wouldn't want to lose bc injury wouldn't even suit up. I would these people that they aren't the only ones that know a little something about disrespect. Now pay me, I put 11 on the field on offense, and 11 on the field on defense, just write me my check!!!

My thoughts exactly. After UGAy vs TCU last year, the committee did not want a repeat of that. If FSU wins then they have a legitimate complaint. Until then, they just need to shut up with the victim mentality.

True the FSU has a good defense, but Georgia only scored less than 30 points 3 times all season and never scored less than 20. So unless FSU pulls off a freaking miracle on offense it is going to be a blowout.

Both Norvell and Smart have a perfect opportunity to teach their young men a good life lesson. There are times in life when you don't get what you feel you deserve and are disappointed with what life hands you. The real world is "not fair" and sometimes you work hard, do the right thing and you still don't come out on top.
So what lesson do they want to teach these young men about handling this kind of situation?? Do they want to teach them to pout, poke their lips out and spend weeks feeling sorry for themselves? Do they want them to essentially quit and tell them their best effort is no longer required?
No - the best thing Norvell and Smart could do is teach these men how to deal with this adversity because at some point in life - these folks are going to face a situation they feel is "not fair" and they need to know how to positively deal with it. Norvell and Smart should teach these men that giving a half-azzed effort is never acceptable as is quitting. They gotta teach these young men that picking yourself up and getting back in the arena and giving their all is the only response winners put forth after disappointment.
If these coaches cave to the "woe is me" and do anything less than a 100% effort then they aren't worthy of the leadership positions they have been entrusted as head football coaches.

It’s just unfortunate a cheater (Mich) got in and a Bama team that barely beat a bad Auburn team the week before got in after beating an undefeated UGA by only 3. Just a shame.

Players play the games not coaches. If you are nfl bound and felt disrespected by the ncaa and acc, would you put their patch on a jersey and risk anything for a meaningless bowl game for espn to make money? Answer is a clear NO! Coaches have to take what they have left and play a meaningless game. Outcome says nothing about the teams they competed with this season. Until they tie NIL money to playing time it will only get worse. Dabo doesn’t even know what kind of team he will field. If Kentucky wins I will not say they had the better team this season. Only thing it says is they were better in this day with these teams.
