Underrated, perhaps, but I only want to point out that this was not game film. Yes, great hands and separation, etc., but these guys were simply dong drills in practice. Unless I missed something, which I often/always do....(?)

... is there any sort of time limit as to how long the QB can wait while the receivers break free of the DBs ??

Yes, I believe it's around 5 seconds.

... as I replied, above (obviously very late in the posting thread), this is not a game film, these are simply drills the team is going through. Of course he looks great "when he's working out with the guys and he's supposed to catch the ball", but show me the real thing, please, before I give my opinion/assessment. A top-caliber edge rusher would change the whole scenario.

If he works hard and follows the rules Chase will be a great WR for the Tigers.

I agree, and this is the deepest class of receivers I can remember, so that is saying a lot.

7v7 is not simple drills or a practice. 7 on 7 tournaments are a big deal. It's just like a normal football game without the oline & dline. Trust me, those defensive backs and linebackers are busting their tails to try to stop him because they are also trying to showcase their talents. C'mon man
