SCar and UGA are exactly who we thought they'd be.

UGA is very weak in secondary, weak at QB and WR. Strong running game, and strong front 7.
SCar has a strong OL and RB, avg QB, servicable WRs, good LBs. Very weak secondary.
It's all about matchups. Amazing how the last 10 min of the UGA game completely changed some people's perception of UGA.
Amazing how the Texas A&M game completely changed people's perception of SCar as they were a match up nightmare.
We have discussed this for months and it's exactly what played out. Tenn and FLA will be tough matchups for SCar... as well as Mizzou, Auburn, and Clemson. They may match up best with Auburn out of those games.

They have 2 weeks to prepare for Auburn and match up better

with a team who's not as equipped to sling it everywhere.
I agree they get beat because Auburn is really good and at home. But I think Tenn, at Fla, and at Clemson will be extremely difficult.
Don't know as much about Mizzou.

how have the last two times we played them here at our home field gone? even with their below average qb and home field advantage we got beat and out coached. please explain again that thing about home field advantage and the three teams. I believe the coots have won 4 out of the last 5 to the dogs and 5 in a row against us.

i fear SCar's inexperienced secondary will be experienced before they play us. they improved a good bit from the 1st game. they did a better job w/ Gurley than we did. their avg QB has great protection and their RBs behind the OL can cause us fits like UGA. we don't have the same big play offense sans Sammy, so right now we don't line up well against the Coots even at home.

Scar made the biggest adjustment by throwing quick passes rather than 5step drops from shotgun. This negated the 5 man rush and got the receivers in good position for short receptions and kept drives going. The quick passes helped the run game which did nothing in the 1st half.

They hit down field all day in the 1st half. Their receivers are always better than we give them credit for. Still home field advantage will be the difference. But a lot of games before then.

What makes anyone think SC is a win besides home field. They are better right now and are improving drastically on both sides of the ball. Their oline is much better than UGA.

?? Actually, They threw very few quick passes. His protection was solid and Thompson could have eaten lunch back there a fee times.

sportswriter for Atlanta Journal spen most of his write-up about GA losing bashing us. "Georgia had only played Clemson" only team that folds worse in the second half of games is Clemson etc. What a dirtbag....

undermine it with BS they spew. Finebaum gap falls into same camp. We recruit in SEC footprint and they can't stand it.
