Pathetic performance by our Defense in stopping that shovel pass, and containing their QB, and pathetic performance by our OL in not getting 1 yard in 2 tries which ultimately cost us the game. Also, that soft defense we get into in many games is just about guaranteed to let the opponent go down the field to within scoring range. Those are points of frustration for this old boy. I hope we have learned a good lesson and correct the flaws. Good things still are within reach, and I didn't wake up this AM as a coot. We have lots to be Thankful for.

It was the same five plays though... more than once

1) The play were we unable to defend, the "shovel/read" pass - We'll see that again REAL soon... 2) The play that got a no yard gain on short yardages 3) The play that turned it over in the red zone 4) The play that bailed out the Pitt offense (admittedly the refs helped here) 5) The play where a linebacker lost coverage
Yeah... hopefully we just flush that game, it FINALLY focuses the team, and we remember all of the goals are still accomplishable!
Go Tigers!

I really hope this wakes the Tigers up. If they don't take this last game and look deep into their hearts and come out next week with a chip on their shoulders then it could be a LONG next few weeks. I have confidence that Dabo and his crew will use this game against PITT to fuel their fire but only the players can fan their fire.
GO TIGERS!!!

When you can't get a 3rd and 1 or a 4th and 1 then it's all on the OL. I hoped we'd be better on the OL, and I believe last year we started heading in the right direction, but somehow we have lost our way this year. That is the gap between us and AL, and it is a deep and vast chasm.
