Just posted this in another similar thread about Overton but why are you guys worried about this dude going to visit South Carolina ? First of all, the chances of him landing there are slim to none. Second, even if he does decide to play for them, this is the same team that took probably the best player that's ever been through the portal in Spencer Rattler and did NOTHING with him except almost get him killed
They have lost their best receivers , they have lost a good QB that they won't be able to replace and lost the only serviceable RB on the roster, they have lost their good kicker . So again I ask? Who cares if they get a 5 star portal player to plug 1 of the 50 holes in their roster, they will still suck and he will be back in the portal at the end of 2024

These are exactly my thoughts… I mean they have so many issues in Columbia that grabbing this guy and even a guy that they are all excited about in rocket sanders will do nothing for them… they have a ton of issues on both sides of the line and defensively in general that a couple high end portal guys are not going to solve. And yes everyone is saying sellers is the savior but I feel like we have heard that about the last 4-5 qbs lol and we all know that stars and mop of time doesn’t reflect what the play will look like long term as a starter (DJ). So sellers hasn’t proven anything yet…. If they do get some of these guys I’m sure they will leave after another 5-7 possibly 4-8 season next year .

Not worried one bit but just surprised a player of that caliber would consider going to a dump like that. I’m sure Rattler regrets making that decision as well. He was absolutely murdered during the Clemson game. Probably still feeling the effects from Trotter’s hits lol
