Crockpot rump roast with potatoes, carrots and green beans in a mushroom sauce. Hubby's oncologist told him yesterday that he can have an occasional drink except for the week that he has chemo (every 3 weeks), so we will be able to have a a Friday Cosmo for dessert!

Homemade bisicuits from the woodstove, fried fatback and coffee. The breakfast of champions at Granny's house. Nothing got wasted so the fatback drippings was used in the cornbread she cooked for dinner and supper. I thank God for having those simpler days.
