I don't believe Wes Goodwin is a championship DC but giving up 1 TD is not bad.

Even with that late touchdown, it's hard to argue that the defense didn't do well today.

Garbage time TD’s need to be addressed better. Coach them up to FINISH the game. 60 minutes and not 58, 59. Finish strong, this team has yet to do that thus season

it kinda changes the concept of "garbage time." They only scored one time the whole game. Whether that's in the 1st quarter or the last, that's good right?

If Wes is not a top notch D coord then there ain't one... anyone that can fashion a D with 3 major injuries and use our LB strength can get it D one...almost felt sorry for VT!

However, it must be noted tonight that VA Tech dropped nearly 10 easily catchable passes.
Most defenses will be very effective against an offense that had so many whiffs.

He’s garbage. Started in a 3-3-5 defense. Ended in typical 4-2-5. Felt like a loss tbh. Faith has been lost.
