To Christian McCaffrey. Can we just be honest - it’s mainly because he’s a white RB. Same with when people compare Lamar Jackson to RG3, or Mike Vick, etc.

Plus, I'm pretty sure Shipley possesses Etienne-like speed and explosiveness. That's based on what we've been told, of course. Just like Justyn Ross; if you'd never seen him before this year, you'd never believe he possesed the speed, athleticism, and physicality he showed against Alabama (and others) pre-surgery.

He’s obviously a stud like McCaffrey and an incredible all purpose back. However there are also incredible all purpose backs who are black. My only point there is the picking and choosing of race in certain conversations.
