that started in the ticket office and never played a down in their lives.
And people are shocked when teams are picked based on the money rather than merit. My first assumption based on the selections today was that they are corrupt, but maybe they just don’t know any other way to “do business.”

Has any of them coached at the D1 level in the last 20 years?

lol. A female sports writer, looks like she has only covered Olympic sports in her life. Sportswriters have no business on this.
I have to assume Jim Grobe was pro FSU and maybe Will Shields.

Maybe we should have shadow CFP selection process using AI and see who they come up with and compare the results to the questionable intelligence of Boo Coorigan and his gang of sellouts.

Go a few rings up to the top of the CFP corporate ladder and you’ll see our very own Jim Clements as a Board of Managers member. Will any of our local journalists ask for his comments? FYI, the Board of Mgers selects the Management Committee who, in turn, appoints Selection committee members.

and a lot of management and expense - a board of managers selects a management committee who select the selection committee members.

Luckily, he couldn't slide NC State or ND in there.

It was a 13-0 vote, per reports, which I suspect was a cave in

among several members to group pressure, as they knew the decision was going to be highly inflammatory.
One member, generally highly regarded within the ACC, is Jim Grobe, long time HC at Wake. He's also a UVA grad, which would make one think he would have supported the ACC. That is, of course, assuming he actually believed FSU didn't belong in the top four. Corrigan from N.C. State was another, probably protective of State with a ho hum attitude toward the conference...in other words, a chicken-sh*t coward.
