One big concern I have about this season is being able

to pull out wins when we play a lackluster game. Examples are the State or BC or UMD games last year. We don't have as many experienced big play guys to just put teams away.
State gave us a helluva fight last year. Bryant made the big plays to put 'em away.
BC led us most of the game last year but our talent and big plays by Sammy and Steward/Beasley put 'em away.
UMD was a fight also, but Sammy dominated and we pulled away.
This year I see 5 sure wins: SC State, NC State, 'Cuse, @Wake, and Georgia State.
I see 2 tossups, USC and UGA.
FSU is a probable loss, imo, but we have a shot.
The 4 games I'm worried about losing if we don't play well are UNC, Louisville, @BC, and @ GT. Will we have the experienced playmakers to pull out these games if we play bad?

I will not be worried.
Depends on how we do against Jaw Jaw and the Criminoles... Think we will be fine coming out of the first one. Hope we have a good showing in Tally but it will obviously be a really tough game all around.
Hoping for a 1989 type of game that no one expects!

we will beat the holy crap outta GT and BC. But your points are well taken.
I don't want to start another thread hijack, but you're going to see Cole Stoudt run this ship very well. We won't be scurrying around trying to play catch-up all game long. I expect to see scoring like we've never witnessed at CLEMSON. But - like I said - this is probably going to hijack this thread. Sorry man.

many people are thinking, plus I expect our defense to give our offense more chances this year. We will miss Sammy, Martavis and Tajh for sure, but we still have a lot of offensive weapons.
