Just read where Doreen and the Wolfies said they did not

execute...Well sir, we didn't either at 100 percent. We EASILY could have had 14 more points, maybe 21...What exactly, point wise, did State leave on the table. For that matter, if not for REF aided drives, how many would they have scored....SIX?

Officiating seemed horrible. Would have like to have seen some replays on a few. Dabo said the targeting on #1 was the right call. That call is all over the board and I never know what they might call on helmet first contact.

You absolutely can not lower your head. That’s pop Warner 101. Mukuba unfortunately lowered his. The rule has been changed and I personally think this year it more uniform and is being called better. Can’t make any contact with the crown of the helmet. He did.

Let me translate 'Failure to execute,' for you.

In plain English that means 'IT'S NOT MY FAULT,' as if a head coach can dispose of his responsibility by blaming his subordinates.
"It's not my fault,' is the original excuse, transferring blame. It was used by Adam in the garden when he said 'The woman gave it to me...,' speaking of the fruit. Then '...and you gave me the woman,' trying to transfer the blame to God.
I hope Nansy Tate keeps that whineask looser.

Read the quotes, not just the opinion pieces.

“ “Winning here, the last 36 teams that have tried didn’t get it done,” Doeren said. “We would have had to play a lot better than we did tonight. You’ve got to give Clemson credit. They won the line of scrimmage. Their D-line played really good. I thought they had a good game plan. Defensively, they played a lot looser in the secondary and made it hard for us to run by them. And their D-line pressured us.”
That was a hard-fought game, and Clemson out-played us. And obviously, that means they out-coached us today.”
Your rant is off base and wrong. Put in effort to read the quotes first.

Here’s another quote

Please explain how this quote doesn’t justify the OP? Maybe you need to keep reading.
“It was there, for sure. I feel like we gave them a touchdown going into the half,” Doeren said. “I really feel that way. Not to discredit Clemson. They made a nice throw and catch. But we were in a three-deep with two hard corners, and they run a flat route; the corners should be all over that. That should never have been caught by (Will) Shipley. That got busted right there. The cornerback had his eyes in the wrong spot. You can’t do that and win games like this.

The OP and Post I replied to we’re making the stance that DD was passing the buck to his team when he didn’t.
I read the entire interview and will say what o said about it earlier; Doeren is a jerk but his comments were gracious and spot on. I’d be disappointed also in giving up that TD before the half, it changes the game.

That play was as good a pass and catch to a well covered back out of the backfield that you will ever see. DD made it sound like they “gave” us a TD in a busted play. He was definitely blaming his DB.

I love how coaches talk about the 2-3 plays that would've made it a different game. Like the other team didn't have 2-3 plays that would've made it more lopsided.

and Leary's late score on backup D was very disappointing but Dabo and Wes threw them some late courtesy yards and points to make it seem like the game wasn't the total behind kicking it was.
