Re: I don't see Cheap Seats on the architect's rendering....

Well, the days of Clemson being a small back woods school are over. And same goes for IPTAY standing for I Pay Ten A Year.
These are the cold hard facts. And with college atheletics being ever more competive, and with college scholarships being even more expensive; I don't see "cheap seats" being an option for any school.

at the ends of the existing stands would be removed since those stands will be extended and they won't be needed. The drawings show stands all the way to the ends of the dugouts. I'm not sure what the B & C are and I'm also not sure what the structure is behind the Clemson dugout.

A, B, C, and D represent the detail views.

Your pictures show everything that you need to know.
A, B and D are shown in the detail drawing of the expansion. C is nothing more than the concessions area to be built into the rear of the visiting side.

with the new practice field behind the batting cages. Isn't that where motor home parking is for football. A friend of mine has a numbered motor home spot right behind the right field line. Sorry, but I'm just getting a little tired of Iptay asking for more money and eliminating more and more parking every year.

by the construction of some badly needed and well deserved additions to Clemson's baseball facilities. If that makes me a smarta$$, then so be it.

"I'm just getting a little tired of Iptay asking for more money and eliminating more and more parking every year". This will impact a lot more than myself. Not only will my friend be moved, but so will a lot of other people. They'll all be moved somewhere else, which will in turn cause other people's parking to be moved. I know it's important to upgrade our facilities so we can stay among the best facilities in the country. However, Iptay seems perfectly content to keep asking for more money while they keep eliminating parking. I just hope they've done the most they can to minimize the impact on parking, but I have my doubts.

Having to restructure parking assignments.....

because of demand and the continued improvement of our athletic facilities is NOT a bad thing. Sure it's a little inconvenient but there is a much bigger picture here to be considered.

I agree we need to continue to improve our facilities.

I don't think Iptay worries about how some of these changes will affect their donors. After all, these upgrades are made possible by their generous donations. Clemson is well known for it's great tailgating. I just don't want that to disappear with all of these continuous improvements.
