Makenzie Alexander is Clemson's next Justin Miller

Very excited to watch this young man play. The more I keep reading about him as a returner, and from what I'm hearing about his capabilities as a defensive back draw comparisons to the former Clemson great Justin Miller. Really hoping he can stay healthy and thrive this year.
19 days fellas.

Miller had a great freshman season and, while he was good after that, he never matched that first year's performance. Alexander has the potential to be exponentially better.

Dang - we're disrespecting Justin Miller as a returner??? The same guy that went pro early because he was so dang good at doing that?? You guys ever seen Justin Miller play football?? I'm not talking about CB - I'm talking about returner. The man was the BEST we ever had IMO. I've never seen better - and no - Sammy could hold a candle to JM as a returner.

J Mill was a S playing CB

He lacked true cover skills. Mack is a lockdown, on your hip corner. WAAAYYYYY different. now, IF (and it is a big IF) Mack can be the special teams player was in addition to playing CB, then we have another PRIME TIME on our hands.

Agreed that Mac is the more natural cover guy but a little surprised at some of the above comments on Miller. Thought he was really good for y'all.

he was excellent in the zone schemes. on an island, he was a good college CB. Not great. Or even very good IMO

Justin Miller hit like a truck and had a good knack for making guys miss during his punt returns. Mackenzie Alexander has yet to get his chance at either ...but he will soon.
