Derrick Henry: Alabama (12-1)
- 2083 yards (rush, rec)
- 23 TD's

Christian McCaffrey: Stanford (11-2)
- 3496 yards (rush, rec, returns)
- 15 TD's

Deshaun Watson: Clemson (13-0)
- 4399 yards (passing, rushing)
- 41 TD's

It's not about Stats,but where you play.
Henry plays in the SEC.That's got to be worth at least 3 votes.
McCaffery plays in a very popular state,Calf.Count 2 vote.
DeShaun plays in Clemson.I supspect half those voting on the award don't even know where Clemson is,let alone South Carolina.Oh wait South Carolina is in the SEC,so strike that part of the equation but give Henry one more vote.
However Deshaun gets only one vote.
Now this is just my opinion on how the voting went.
