They really can't, and when they are called out, their blood pressure rises so high that they look dark blue around the mouth. When people tell lies on another person that they really don't know, they take it personal when they're called out bc they know what they've said was a bald face lie!!!

Amen! That is about as firm of a recommendation as anyone could ever receive. Nobody is liked by everyone. Indeed, the person who is probably is fake, because he would have to wear too many faces to be liked by everyone. But being real, authentic, is a wonderful commentary, particularly among coaches.

Well I'll tell ya, everybody that knows me on a personal level, say I'm exactly who they thought I was after the first 10 minutes of talking to me. My thing is, if you don't like the person that I am, that sounds like your problem, not mine bc I can't be who someone may want me to be, and I don't have a problem being who I am bc I'm use to me

I watch all of The Pate Freight commentary on YouTube and find Josh to be one of the “first ten minutes “ guys that was mentioned in another thread.Smart knowledgeable and fair. Especially when he is criticizing.

I think that is the biggest thing. To some extent the media has given an over the top narrative to Dabo. Many perceive him almost as a Southern Baptist minister that coaches football. All of a sudden when he loses his temper or does something that doesn't go along with that perception they consider him fake.
Many don't understand that even Pastors are just men. Their life is more than just their religion. They definitely don't understand a layman that is upfront about their faith.

Exactly, and if they already have a negative opinion of you, theres nothing you can do or say to get them to change their mind, so why even try bc if they feel they have irritated you, they will kiss your A$$ when around you, and talk cold chit about you behind your back, and they are the worst kind of 2 faced S O B. I am absolutely positive that no one can ever ever accuse me of being 2 faced bc I will not try and hide who I am from ya. People will either like me, or dislike me bc I don't know how to be any different than I am day in and day out bc I will not hide behind a smoke screen, and the people that do, it doesn't take long for the smoke to go away and you can see right through them and see who they truly are, and that's usually a commond P O S!!!

in hit pieces on Dabo in the media is that they never follow an actual interview with the man by the writer. Instead, it's commentary around a quote or a piece of an answer given to someone else somewhere else, which often lacks context or clarity. And considering it's Dabo, who is definitely one to speak his mind, there's lots of material to work with. It's lazy journalism at best, and disingenuous at worst.

So who said Dabo was fake, or insincere, or not what he seems to be? Is there really a Dabo backlash somewhere that matters even a little bit?
Some do not like it that Dabo thinks an expanded playoff is dumb idea. Others do not like it that Dabo makes $11M/year but does not want to pay college players. Others get twitchy when a person, any person mentions having faith in God.
But who thinks Dabo is fake or not what he seems to be? I have missed the Dabo is faking commentary.

I don't see where that fake thing is coming from, beyond people trying to stir up negative feelings about other people. From a Notre Dame fan perspective, Swinney is one of the most genuine coaches I've seen.
Looking forward to our rematch this season; one of the big three games on the schedule along with Ohio State and USC.
