Troy Stellato expected to enter portal

Sad he was always hurt because he really started to be a good possession receiver! Thought he was a good depth piece behind our top 3. Have a feeling Randal and maybe noble J will also enter as their playing time is gone at this point.

Met Noble Johnson's mom, who is a physician, in San Diego at a grocery store last year. She was in SD for a conference from Texas. I was wearing a Clemson sweat shirt and we helped a guy who had a seizure in the check out line. She was so complimentary of Dabo and the staff how they treated Noble after his car accident. I don't think he's going anywhere.
Randomly, I also met Sheridan Jones' uncle in a post office in Portsmouth, VA in 2019. I also was wearing a Clemson sweat shirt and he asked if I liked Dabo before he told me of his connection. I said Dabo always says, "serve a player's heart and not his talent, and football will take care of itself". He started laughing and I asked why and he said I sounded like one of the coaches on the recruiting visit he went with Sheridan to.
And lastly, I rented a house in Bethesda, MD in 2021 and needed a door fixed. Brian Breese's Dad owned the company that was contracted to do the repair. He came in with his crew and noticed my Clemson stuff everywhere and just started laughing. Great dude.... he has done very well with his company but he is a blue collar guy. So sad for him and his whole family when Ella passed.
There were a lot of head scratchers this season and the last few seasons, but we have a good one in Dabo and lucky to have him leading the young men that choose Clemson. We will be just fine.
Feel bad for Troy with all the injuries he has had. I love his toughness and grit and he has great hands. But I understand why he is moving on. Wish him nothing but the best.
Let's go win the ACC and really give the Cooters something to complain about. There is nothing I would like for x mas than our Tigers in the CFP with the Cooters crying as half their team graduates, the other half transfers including Sellers and they retreat back to their baseline for another decade or two muddling around in mediocrity right where they belong. If Shane was smart, he'd ride this year to a school where there isn't a chicken curse and a chance to be a winner.
Go Tigers !!!

I met ETN's mom, aunt and several cousins when they were on the way to see their first Clemson home game. She had never been to the campus if I recall but it was definitely all their first game at Clemson and I think he was a Soph. They were great southern folk from Louisiana and super excited to see the stadium. What I thought was funny was all the family except the mother had ETN jerseys on except they were LSU jerseys, ha! The mom had a Clemson shirt on with ETN on it. I greeted them and welcomed them to Death Valley and they were all smiles.

Who? All the top receivers are taken and untill I see Dabo actively use the portal, I will not believe the smoke he and Neff are blowing up our a$$ with this new NIL plan they have.

I always liked Stellato's toughness but he couldn't stay on the field. A speedy recovery and best wishes to him.

Although Stellato would get a bunch of snaps (and be targeted a lot, because he gets open and catches the ball), I can (sadly) see why he might look elsewhere.
He’s good enough to be the #1 WR on most teams. Barring injury and barring an unexpected early departure by A.Williams for the NFL, Stellato would be an upperclassman WR who will be competing for snaps against A.Williams, Wesco, TJ Moore, Tyler Brown. Cole Turner will also get some snaps that might otherwise go to Stellato. And who knows about Tink’s development at slot and the incoming FR WR’s ability to play early at the slot.
Selfishly, I wish he’d stay because his toughness and excellent hands are clearly valuable. He’d be either our #4 or #5 WR, depending on how T.Brown comes back from his injury / RS year. Nobody wants to lose their #4 or #5 WR.
I hope he stays, but wish him luck if he departs.

Adam Randall

Adam Randall has had enough bad luck from the knee down to the toe to derail his otherwise bright prospects at Clemson.
If he were to RS in 2025, then he’d still be competing for snaps in 2026 as a RS Senior against not just Wesco and TJ Moore, but also Tyler Brown and Cole Turner. Each of the aforementioned WRs will have had more experience and a better track record of success than A.Randall. Furthermore, CK2 will have finished his college career at end of 2025 season; A.Randall would have to hope that Vizzina would be ready to rock as our (likely) starting QB in 2026 so that he might actually have some accurate passes come his way.
Looks like a tricky path moving forward for A.Randall as WR at Clemson.
I still hope he stays, because I think that if he is ever fully healthy from Spring practice through the end of a football season, he’d be a star for us.

Too bad that it works out this way sometimes, but it is hard to see N.Johnson’s path forward as a WR at Clemson. What are his prospects for being the target for many passes in any if the next three years?
Who knows? He might be a Cornel Powell in waiting. Sticking it out and getting even one good season as WR at Clemson has been shown as being enough to make a NFL roster.
I hope he sticks it out with us.

I will be curious to see how long before we hear where he is going. The cynic in me can’t help but feel like he has already been having conversations.

Hate to loss him because he was a contributor when healthy but not sure he's going to get a ton of interest if he can't stay healthy.
