As I mentioned in a post not too long ago that mentioned Jack... Jack and his mom were awesome help when I was helping a kid get connected at the kickers camp. His mom is on Tigernet and helped connect to Jack who helped the kid feel welcome. Its awesome to know that Jack will not only be starting but also starting on a scholarship. Congrats to Jack and congrats to his mom and the rest of their family!

I have great respect for the walk-ons. They bust their butts everyday just to get a chance to be a part of a dream they have, and it's tough on them, for sure. Great thing about Dabo, though, is they do get real work, and if they stay the course, they leave as Letter Winners. Everybody matters to Dabo!

Dabo has always been pretty consistent with giving scholarships to walk on's that has earned, and deserve to have a scholarship like any other player that plays... There are a lot of walk on's that start in specialty positions like kickers, punters, and long snappers that are a benefit to the team bc they are very good at their specialty position, and they're never given a scholarship even when they're one the top at their position in all of college FB. But Dabo has always rewarded those guys, and rightfully so bc he believes that hard work and consistency should be rewarded!!!

Nothing like having a dream come true... I watched a crew build a microwave tower as a teen, saw an ad in the Greenville News a few years later. Worked from 1972-1978 from La.-California in the best decade of USA history. Best of luck,Mad Dog...

Another time of Dabo showing he is a good man with a big heart rewarding hard work!!! Since we all have learned about the kind of man that Dabo is, we're not at all surprised about why these young men love coming to Clemson to play FB for Dabo Swinney. He pays his plays players with love and respect, no cash is needed!!!
