Trump just fired all 9 members of the Department of State’s Advisory Committee on Historical Diplomatic Documentation...... no cause given.

Here's what Grok had to say:

Well that is kinda devious. Thing is the leftists gotta make up their minds is Trump a maroon or evil genius? He cannot be both you know. I still say one man in 4 years will be unable to destroy the Republic as everything he does is from an EO, no legislation. Next guy can undo it with a pen.
I just find the left running about like a chicken missing it's head for 4 years funny, I also find the right kowtowing to Trump pathetic and will laugh on the sidelines.

The left assumes Trump to be a moron at best, that is their failing. He certainly does have a plan, be it his own design or others I have no clue. What it is I am unsure of but rest assured there is a plan. Whether it is good or bad for the nation over time who knows. The far right MAGA's think he is a genius but in the end they may be left holding the smelly end of the stick too.
Me, I just think he is a grifter and narcissistic. He embodies the saying " The is no I in team but there is a ME".

When stuff like what is posted in the OP is done, that is not something Trump came up with, that is his project 2025 advisors.

In my reply I said I did not know if it was his or others plan, does not negate the fact there is a plan.

As to him being a moron, see that is a failing flaying attitude. You will only be confounded as his term progresses if that is what you hold dear to in fact.
You better come up with a plan on the DEM side because standing around pointing fingers is not a plan my friend.

Maybe old Gavin can swim stealthily towards the center and all will forget about his mucking up Ca. I doubt it as it is all a show, run AOC and get trounced. Better get a cracking on finding someone for 2028 because those 2 ain't it.

Dems have a lot of issues and need to improve their candidates, their communication, and their positioning.
That can be true and at the same time Trump being a moron or mentally incapacitated can also be true.
If there is an election in 2028 and if Trump is not on the ballot, as an independent I will be voting for whoever is the most sane, centrist candidate.

I just take solace in the fact there is not so much he can muck up that it will personally hurt me. Can he cause items to go up in price sure but that will not really cause me harm. Whether the EU or Canada likes us, no big deal really for me. I've done retired twice, just gonna enjoy golf, kayaking and putting the jet ski's in the lake for as long as I am able, the future of the world is left to those who will have to make it in it far longer than I have left. Does that make me self centered, sure does, I freely admit it. Point is I am gonna sit back with a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the spectacle. The left and right squabbling along tribal lines is funny to me, both sides have not worked for the average citizen for a very long time. I hope both sides get burnt down at this point. I'll really care again when we have a viable 3rd party of the middle of the US electorate in mind.

Here's what Trump can do, fwiw.

He can delete our 401k. He can devalue the dollar. He can start WW3. He can make your kids (grandkids?) targets in a rifle on the other side of the world. He can ruin relationships, between countries. He can make your food cost more, your cars cost more, he can make your jetskis a luxury no one can afford.
He can teach your children that thinking only about themselves is best, and he's wrong.
He is a completely predictable consequence of bad leadership. Doesn't make him right. Makes him inevitable maybe.

I am not worried about him starting WWIII. I do think he will destroy relationships with allies though. Who knows? Maybe he will step it up.

401k was established by legislation, so nope on that one unless Congress changes it.
Do not see him starting WW3 at all.
Europe and NATO have been warned, begged to fund military spending going way back. They ignored and went broke spending on “free college and medical. Wake up time for them I say, so if they were only friends so Daddy would rush across the ocean to save them maybe we are better off.
Yes food may get more expensive but I’ll still buy what I like. Vehicles same thing, do not need one right now or through his term. If something happened to change that then I’ll buy what I want.
Jetski’s are a luxury in reality, most watercraft are in fact. Mostly financed by folks who want but really cannot afford, gotta finance that illusion of a vast middle class.
At $36t debt it is high time we stopped borrowing money to give away. The economic calamity is/was inevitable due to debt.we have just been putting bandaids on bulletin wounds.
Last line- He ain’t Thanos my friend. He is a weak, vain man. Can he be dangerous sure he could but my bet is when rubber meets the road he tucks tail.
DJT is now a 2x President only due to Dems running the only 2 women on the planet who could muck it up. I would vote for a woman, just not Clinton/Harris. Blame the Dems for running what they did as a lot of votes were against them not for Trump. I sat it out as neither side ran anyone I could vote for and in truth we all knew Trump was carrying SC.

Did vote in primary though, she did not get the nomination. Still cast my vote there as she would have been far better than the rest on either side.

You know, the one Rubio just shed light on. A state dept office whose only function is to put together dossiers against American citizens. I guess the Russia collusion one was so successful, they created an entire office to keep that going.
Maybe you could list what wasted tax dollar offices that you are ok with and those you aren’t???

in the OP, but trying to make some comparison to something else in the past. You seem incapable of simply addressing a topic on its own merit. I know it's convenient for you...thinking like you do never makes you actually have to address what is being done now, as there's always something you can pull out of your #### that kinda sounds like maybe the same sort of thing someone else did before and you think that insulates you from having to truly consider what is being done now.

Look the Judicial Branch is still providing checks on him for now, even SCOTUS. Legislative have been a bigger clown show for far longer and they abdicated their functions but maybe Trump is running out of stuff he can legally EO. Plus in 2 years the mid terms are sure to swing the other way if he is still screwing up. SO really not a huge deal for now.

Did Team Trump shred all of the documents?
If so, then you’ve learned of a brewing scandal.
If it is about the firing of career bureaucrats, the vast majority of which had been Demicrats prior to Trump-45, and now of which are spittle spewing outright haters of Trump-47, then I expect we’ll be learning about these 9 fired members of HAC pretty soon.
Or not.
If these ‘Fired Nine’ sue for wrongful firing, then the defendant in the suit (the Federal Govt) will subpoena the HAC for internal e-mails, text messages, etc. that the government will have access via the discovery process. In other words, the Fired Nine may decide that it is better to have some still-funded NGO to put out information as Grok had done.
Remember why, in the Trump / J6 case, the government never formally charged Trump with insurrection, despite using “insurrection” frequently in the descriptive parts of the indictment? I suspect that, if the govt had actually used “insurrection” as one of the charges, that the discovery process would have laid bare the FedSurrection led by Adam Schiff, Benny Thompson, Liz Cheney, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, Christopher Wray, etc etc etc.
Some things are better left to the legacy propaganda network of the pre-Trump-45 government / private entities collaborators.
