are going to be able to pay coordinators (and head coaches) alot more than ACC programs. It's going to become increasingly difficult to keep good coaches in this league.

Wow!
To say I am surprised is an understatement.
Can he get the same type of talent at Wisconsin?
Say what you will about Undisciplined Non-Compliant they keep good players at least.
The grind it out; slow as she goes is done in Wisconsin if Longo is taking over the play calling.
Perhaps, he believes he can recruit a better OL and will only need good enough athletes at the skill positions.
It will be interesting to see his style in October and November in Big 10 country where it's cold!

Seems to me there would be an OC who would love to have Maye to work with next year. Also, if I was a WR in the portal I wouldn’t mind catching passes from Maye next year.

With Big 10 and SEC schools distributing over 100 million per school in TV money per year expect more of this.

That's the same question(for lack of better words) I am asking. Who was the last WR prospect you remember at Wisconsin? Maybe, if he uses what he has and it looks like the same up-tempo fun offense that eats up yards - maybe he can attract a difference-maker.
The giant in waiting in the Big 10 i.m.o is Maryland! The DMV area has a wealth of talent. Ohio State and Penn State harvest that area heavily!
If someone could get some of those players to stay around; they could be trouble.
Same thing about GT in the ACC while I think about it. Lots of local talent; that may want to play ball close to home.

Apparently Wisconsin is his wife’s home state and her family is there. Might have a lot to do with it.
