I think that Trevor has shown exceptional calmness and poise for a "true freshman QB" through out his first college FB season. But I have to say this, I'll give DW4 every bit the credit that he deserves bc he was a great QB that had a ton of poise and calmness through out his career as our QB, but he never had the pressure in his true freshman season that Trevor Lawrence has had in his true freshman season. Trevor has taken us through his true freshman season undefeated since he became the starter. And now he is about to lead us in a NCG game as a true freshman, and there isn't anything that can put that kind or that much pressure on even a senior QB, than that.
Up to this point in Clemson FB history, we've never had a true freshman QB to take us to a undefeated 14-0 FB season, and now he will be leading his team to play for the National Championship in his true freshman season.
Win or lose tomorrow night, Dabo and his staff has done a remarkable job at building our FB program with some amazing talented FB players that does things the right way. Win or lose, 10 year ago nobody could have imagined the Clemson FB program being where we are today heading in our third NCG tomorrow at 8 pm with a true freshman QB leading the way at 8 pm on January 7th 2019. WOW, this wasn't even close to being in our sight or on our wish list 10 years ago before Dabo Swinney became our Head FB coach!!! Go Tigers and beat Bama, the top FB program in the country as they say!!!
