How do you have BT Potter and fail to recruit or develop a replacement in 5 years? On top of that you refuse to use the portal. I could care less that a kicker can kick a ball 65+ yds. That scenario is rarely warranted. Give me a kicker that is automatic inside of 40. Especially with our new 20yd line to 20yd line offense.

to try a 62ish yard field goal but we couldn't figure out that we needed to clock it to get that opportunity. Coaching failure after coaching failure.

Two or three critical plays f up that highly impacted the outcome of a winnable game.
Sorry. Not impressed with Riley’s (or Dabo) feel for the game on calling plays.

I do think Riley is making a positive impact. I think the slow to a crawl to kick a FG was Dabo.

Yeah, I don’t understand Goodwins criticism. Sure, there are things that can develop situationally (like continuing to pressure QBs).
But the Defense has held their own for quite a while since BV left, but the offense being so stagnant has left the defense in horrible positions. We’ve given up 54 points this season… 36 (THIRTY. SIX.) have come from the offense putting the defense in a bad position or outright giving up points. Defense has averaged 13ppg. FSU will not be held to less than 17 points in regulation against any other team this season including post season.
Defense is fine; it just doesn’t look as sexy. Offense is the problem, but it is clearly being improved each week.

Defense is nowhere near as potent as it was under BV. BV defense flipped the field. BV defense set our O up. Goodwin D does not do that.

How often did BV have 24 yards rushing in a game vs a top 5 team...get some darn perspective on all of this...a few turnovers and a couple of field goals and all you Couch potatoes would be carping about not being #1!

Dabo threw Wes under the bus with the sideline reporter. Heck , you’re the HC , if you don’t want to run a 3 man front or get out of it quicker , tell the #### DC . You’re the boss , the alpha dog , take control of the show already.
Don’t let your OC call an RPO on 3rd and 1 foot in OT and assume your young developing QB should know to hand it off. CDS just isn’t paying attention to the details, and now that we aren’t overwhelming teams with superior talent and QB play , it’s just enough to get us beat.

This was my exact thought during his halftime interview. Dabo was upset that we rushed 3 and let Travis pick us apart. "I was thinking to myself; Dabo, you shouldn't be mad. You were standing right beside the DC and never corrected it. That's on you buddy." We have not out coached anyone since the last NC with Jeff Scott as OC. You never hear an announcer credit Clemson for their play call or scheme. We just try to out athlete everyone we play.

Kick a FG in OT???? Call an RPO???? I don’t think coaches can do anymore than they have done to “develop “ the kickers behind BT- please explain what develop even means in a case like this? And how will the portal prevent players from fumbling at key points of the game? Take away one fumble and we beat FSU by more than a touchdown. Complaints or just plain whining doesn’t produce anything but negativity.
