Mainly b/c of the Yankees coming down to Myrtle Beach to escape from NY, NJ & wherever they come from (wait..OHiO) and festering the area with Covid19 germs.
Ha...just kidding about the Yankees but serious about my NO..but do feel & hope season starts in Oct or Nov.

Season will start as normal but the number of games played may be reduced.

It’s going to have a bumpy start and stop abruptly I’m afraid. I do not think a full season is likely.

when campuses (campi?) open, testing increases, more cases are found, back to closing up more.
This will cause continued putting off opening up.
Some states will close more than others, some teams will have more positives, some teams will force others to not have a season.
