I think he was unfairly overhyped to be the next Isaiah Simmons. Seeing how Simmons, who was far more talented, turned out someone’s going to waste a pick on Carter.

I've been saying it all season. He has just not been very good. Honestly I've always thought he was a little overhyped. I love the guy but we have had better linebackers.

B.Carter is very valuable because of his versatility. He is superior in pass coverage. He is good at being gap-sound.

His limitation is, and always has been, tackling.

He’s got short arms. It’s hard to tackle if you can’t get your arms around someone. He gets to the man with the ball very well. However, if he’s not able to make a full-body-on hit, then a broken tackle awaits.

I don’t think this is curable. God didn’t have it in His plans for B.Carter to have long arms.
