And yes, he’s 1 for his last 22 at the plate and he has completely lost his offensive capability at this point, but that play to end the inning right there is why Cromwell is still playing on on an every day basis...

I highly doubt Monte feels we have better defensive third baseman than Cromwell at this point in the season.

We do have another weak link on the infield and plate however....hopefully he doesn't cost us more.

The play was on the other end of the throw. That could have went bad wrong.

I agree, he needs to play but he should be batting 8th or 9th in the lineup.
