I hate it for this fine kid. The Shrine Bowl is an all star game played with passion and intensity and for a good cause. You don't see that in NBA or NFL all star games.
Tramel would do well to get a public or written commitment from Georgia that they won't pull his scholly if he isn't physically performing in 2 to 3 years. If they won't give that assurance, there are other schools that will.

He probably would have redshirted so he has time for rehab.***

I don't know Georgia's practice in pushing out players that aren't productive as Sophomores, but the SEC is notorious for it.
Sure Tramel will be given a red shirt to recover, but if he falls behind schedule he could lose that Scholly, and would be unlikely to swing that out of state tuition. Getting that college education should be his #1 priority.

I hope young Mr. Terry makes a complete and rapid recovery from his injury. From all indications, he seems to be a good kid.............

what uga does. They are more ethical than most sec teams in those matters, but we know we would have stood by the offer. Other schools maybe not. I hope he was considering that when he made his choice.
But yes, of course we hope the best for him.

I still get that, even with your suggested positive intention.

Georgia recruit? Couldn't care less when he's going to get his knee checked. Hope he recovers well, but why take up space here? Let Georgia worry about it.
