On YouTube football talk shows giving Texas advice on how to beat Clemson. Most are suggesting that TX use two QBs. They seem to be afraid that Clemsons Defense does very well against pocket passer type QBs who are not very mobile. Ewers is a good example. They want TX to bring in Manning who is a running threat. Josh Pate, On3 with Andy & Ari, ESECPN, are just a few of many.

I find it odd that these supposedly impartial football newscasters are telling TX how they can win against Clemson or how to not lose. I think Cade is the better of the two QBs. Our defense needs to play at a high level. If they do i think our offense outperforms theirs and we win.

An SMU player noted “Clemson’s D is known to tire and slows down in the 3rd and 4th quarter” .. due to a lack of depth. Coupled with “no adjustment Wes”, it’s a concern. It’s easy to watch Georgia play Texas and point out their flaws. We don’t have Georgia’s D, their depth and especially their coaches ..

Offense needs to convert on 3rd down and sustain more drives. I also hope they mix up the tempo. Winning the turnover margin will continue to be important.

Anything they can do to keep the D off the field and more rested will be a plus.
