Of one of nation’s top 5 Dlines 2-3 times at the GL for NOoo gain with 6 minutes left and great chance to narrow deficit down to 7 points and then try a squiggly kick with possible recovery to put our O back into position to tie the game.
Saying, how do two smart coaches make such insane calls when they realize better than any that our Oline is no match with that Texas beef..And they even took our counter Beef package out!!
The play(s) should have gone out towards the corners with pitch or pass options AND not up the middle.

That close to the goal line I would like to see the offense spread the field sideline to sideline creating more man on man, shotgun, and rpo. But there are smarter more experienced people to make that call. Water under the bridge now.

I'm pretty sure Dabo hinted that the 3rd down play should have gone outside and cut up field. That means Cade should have pitched it. I won't hold that against him this time.

That was a good call and obviously our best shot to score there.
Not that our defense was going to be able to stop them. But it would’ve made things more interesting at the end.

No. It was a pitch, and he didn’t pitch it. Watch the replay and notice how the RB reacts when he doesn’t get the ball. Bad decision by Cade.

If you watch that play you will see the A gap was open. But our center didn't hold the block and the hole closed right as our RB got to the line.
Agreed with above statement. It came down to who executed best.

Nothing wrong with those calls at all. It actually went against tendencies. We gotta be able to get a yard, period.

also the same coaches who called ,on 2 separate drives, trick plays that killed both drives ......
And at least one of those coaches thought it would be a good idea to just rush 2 against a quality QB and an outstanding OL

What the hell was our useless Cole Turner doing in the game and lined up out wide right on that 4th and 1…..totally wrong play. Is he supposed to be some kind of decoy? Why not have an athlete or threat out there like TJ Moore?
Not sure Riley is any better than our Clemson Life DC.

Basically, for armchair quarterback, any call that works is a great call and any call that does not work is a crappy call. I didn;t like the outcome and the execution, but nothing wrong with those calls.
