If you do, use these stats to argue them: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ncaadl
Run-blocking stats
Adjusted Line Yards: One of only two opponent-adjusted numbers on the page, this aligns with the ALY figure FO tracks for the NFL and is presented on a scale in which 100.0 is perfectly average, above 100 is good, below 100 is bad. Clemson #4 (127.9)
Standard Downs Line Yards per Carry: The raw, unadjusted per-carry line yardage for a team on standard downs (first down, second-and-7 or fewer, third-and-4 or fewer, fourth-and-4 or fewer). Clemson #4 (2.17)
Passing Downs Line Yards per Carry: The same unadjusted averages for rushing on passing downs. Clemson #38 (2.90)
Opportunity Rate: The percentage of carries (when five yards are available) that gain at least five yards, i.e. the percentage of carries in which the line does its job, so to speak. Clemson #11 (33.1%)
Power Success Rate: This is the same as on the pro side -- percentage of runs on third or fourth down, two yards or less to go, that achieved a first down or touchdown. Clemson #3 (44.1%)
Stuff Rate: Same as STUFFED on the pro side -- percentage of carries by running backs that are stopped at or before the line of scrimmage. Clemson #2 (27.9%)

Kiffen's inability as a head coach

and that his ethics and morals wouldn't fill up a thimble doesn't take away from the fact that he's a #### good offensive mind. Best in the country, don't know how you measure that. But he's up there.

with the style of offense they run, 4th is very good. They aren't built to rack up offensive stats. But look at how they beat MSU. MSU's D wasn't ready for what Bama threw at them on O. He calls a very good game and finds weaknesses in the opponents D.
He did the same thing at USC. Their Os were very good. D's were terrible. He did the same thing at Tenn.
He's not head coach material, but he's certainly up there among offensive sides.

Now there you go again Bob. Bama's O is geared to grinding the opposing D and chewing the clock. When all is said and done the other team KNOWS they've been in a fight. Anyone with a brain the size of a squirrel's knows that.
Yes, Henry ran for 2061 yards, but if Drake hadn't have broken his arm against Miss St it may have been more like 1800, if that makes you feel better.

That Lane set up ways for his best player to be featured? Sounds like thats what a good OC should do.
Do Elliot/Scott deserve LESS credit because they have a superstar in Watson and find creative ways to use him?

you prefer one way over the other. Doesn't take away from what Kiffin can do as a coach. And he's proven he can coach both.

alabama's offense is ~51st overall this year, the lowest

it's been since early in saban's tenure?
in lane's defense, the offense broke bama's record for yards in his first year; i don't know if that's a huge accomplishment, but it is the record.
i thought they had a great offensive game plan versus msu and really hope coker isn't as efficient against clemson. i'd give lane an A for that game and everything i've read says he's the man when it comes to the O there.
yes, they're stupid rich in talent. kiffin's had some pretty wicked gigs where he's had a lot of toys with which to play, but some pretty good coaches must think he's good at what he does?

but one could say the same thing about the offensive weapons that we have. Give me a playbook and DW4, Scott, Williams, Cain, Legget etc and I could be 9-3 too.
We have great weapons at WR, QB above average RB and OL. We rely on our offense more and gameplan to that. They have great weapons at OL and RB. Average WR overall and an average QB. They rely on their defense more and game plan accordingly.
Doesn't change a thing about the offensive coaches that either team has. They are all right up there with the best.

They have not watched us all year if they think waston is only a threat running. And once again no one thinks we have a running back. Pick your poison. GO TIGERS!!!

We all know Watson has thrown for over 3500 yards. No one really thinks he is not a passing threat. And yes, we do want to see Watson beat us with his arm. Do we have another choice? Should we just let Watson and Gallman run all over us like Oklahoma so you don't have to attempt many passes? You will do the same thing with Coker. It would be too easy on us if you didn't key in on stopping Henry. We'll pick our poison and hopefully contain Watson

Met him when he came to our school when he was @ Tenn to recruit Devin Taylor, Jimmie Legree and Justin Parker. Had a semi-friendly exterior but had a real douchy air about him.

I rest my case. B.S. in MSE from the University of Alabama at Birmingham M.S. in MSE from the University of Florida (in progress. expected by 2016).

I guess MSE must not stand for "mathematically sound extrapolation". Watch out Newton and Leibniz, this guy is carving out a whole new field of mathematics.

They also site the Louisville game a lot as a bad one for us, ignoring that DW was still healing , while talking about how much they've grown since the ole Miss game, as if we haven't. One guy on their board also said unCheat "should have" beat us if it wasn't for the bogus onside kick call.
