Seems just a tad bit hypocritical to DOGE initiatives

Not to mention “hokey” and 3rd world.

May is Military Appreciation month. May 17th is Armed Forces Day and May 26th is Memorial Day. These are good options to recognize and remember the US military.

As a side note, as a kid I use to go to Charleston Air Force Base and Charleston Naval Base on Armed Forces Day. It was pretty cool to go on the planes and ships _ great personal interaction with the airmen and sailors. Also every few years The USAF Thunderbirds or Blue Angels would be there.
