Because either of them would beat Florida
Florida looked like they couldn’t close a game. And really hurt themselves a lot.
Florida was just lucky Auburn did the same thing at more profound levels.

Flawda can beat any team if his supporting cast doesn’t botch things up.
I don’t believe Houston has enough scoring to hang with them.
I would assume Dook would be the favorite, but Flawda beating them would not surprise me at all. Dook favored by 1.5 to 2.5 points?

Of course 2 good teams playing could cause a lot of turnovers, but like both teams were doing it against themselves without out much help from the opposing team

That is what Houston thought back in the day when they whacked #1 Louisville in the semis, then got upset in the final. Shot their wad in the semis.
