Has he outlined how he plans to remove Putin? WWIII may be close. This is not going to turn out good for anyone.
Kamala is waiting for her turn as President...

What seems "intelligent" about Russia's current situation? The tens of thousands of dead Russian soldiers? The crashing of Russia's economy? Their isolation and pariah status to the rest of the world? Targeting and killing civilians because your military has been exposed as vastly overrated? You honestly see anything "intelligent" in all of that?

It's stupid gaff's like this that Obama supposedly stated

"Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up."
You can bet that Putin will get a thousand miles out of this gaff to shore up his BS narratives he has been feeding his domestic Russian audience.
The discomforting thought is even if Biden were to stroke out and no longer be President, Kamala may be even worse. According to multiple articles - Kamala doesn't like to read or study the briefs that her staff provides to educate her on important issues. The result is that Kamala Harris is ill informed and is constantly exposed as such during interviews that highlight her lack of depth on important issues.
I understand that I won't always agree with the politics of the White House occupants, but I do expect competence and that is severely lacking right now. Lord help us...

Just because past Presidents were foolish that somehow makes it OK for the current group of occupants of the White House to be foolish too??
How about judge the current circus of incompetence in the White House on their own merits as they have earned every criticism they get.
PS...the greatest President ever would be George Washington and the greatest in my lifetime was Ronald Reagan...

One with the british against the french and the other with the french against the british. Not much as president, except sending the military to Oliver Millers house to collect taxes. He was more a figurehead for those first years under the constitution, as the first president (sort of, depends on how you consider the articles).
TJ really stood up and made the world take notice with the barbary war. Respect, not extortion.

If the ignorant libs can get out of their echo chamber for a while, they will realize the real danger this President is putting us and the world in.
Suggesting that Trump was dangerous on any front compared to Biden is an absolute joke.
What will it take for the snowflakes to understand that mean tweets are meaningless and that putting a stupid virtue signaling sign in your yard is equally as meaningless when compared to dealing with the real world and real dangers that are out there.
How do those stupid ufcking signs hold up to mortars and artillery? Will it take getting your house blown up by someone like Putin or the next BLM/Antifa protest to get your head on straight?

Ah yes, once again we get the usual refrain that the evil Republicans are the Putin Lovers. Convenient memory loss for Republican bashers for back when Putin was an admired figure by the Democrats / Liberals.
Reactionary / right wing / Nazi-lover rag Time Magazine named Liberal's Hero Vladimir Putin as Person of the Year in 2007 ... and named him as runner-up Person of the Year in 2014.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-time-idUSN1956834820071219Putin is Time magazine's "Person of the Year" Time magazine named Russian President Vladimir Putin its "Person of the Year" for 2007 on Wednesday, saying he had returned his country from chaos to "the table of world power" though at a cost to democratic principles.
Then, after their fawning over shirtless / horseback riding Putin became out of style, it became the new fashion for the Democrats to affix the blame for 'lovin' Putin' to the Republicans. Rather than disavowing their propaganda publication, the Democrats simply put their fingers in their ears and whistle Dixie to excise the memory of yet another wrong prediction from their minds.
New material is desperately needed ... the 'Republicans bad = Putin Lovers / Democrats good = Putin haters' routine has pretty much burned out.

So far this year, the two main candidates for person of the year are Zelensky and Putin (again). Depending on how it plays out, it could be both of them.
Time’s person of the year title doesn’t mean what you think it does.

The President's handlers should hand out a disclaimer before any speech or briefing-"What the President just said is not what he meant."
He should never ad lib.
I really liked the one about responding "in kind" to the Russians using chemical weapons. I also bet the troops he addressed were confused about Biden talking about what they would see in Ukraine.
Speak less, read more Joe.
Yep, I imagine these clips get some air play in Russia. Words do matter.

Do you agree with Lindsay Graham

that a hit needs to be put out on Putin? I absolutely do. I’ve never been a fan of Graham but the cat doesn’t hold back and I like that about him. I understand the repercussions of killing Putin would trigger other world leaders who aren’t condemning him now but he can’t be allowed to kill innocent people at will and that cannot and should not be allowed.

I would be fine if Putin were taken out by his own people. However, Graham was foolish to openly express that, as was Biden to openly express that Putin should not be allowed to remain in power.
Nothing was gained by stating what many would like to see. Having both Graham and Biden express this serves no purpose other than to bolster Putin's claims and inflame an already dangerous situation.
Yeah, I would be happy if Putin were offed internally.
Discretion is not a bad thing.

Lindsey Graham and Joe Biden are showing off when they publicly call for Putin's assassination or removal. That kind of talk plays well with the 'we understand words, but don't understand policy' crowd.
Unless the USA is in a state of active true war with a foreign power, neither the president nor any prominent elected official should call for such a thing via a public statement.
Saying that Putin is a bad man &/or that Russia should get out of Ukraine is fine. Doing something behind the scenes is fine.
But publicly lauding a regime change (which only puts Putin in a corner) is both stupid and very dangerous.
Having a cogent foreign policy is what's really needed.

Simple, straight-up message to the Russian people
Mar 27, 2022, 11:43 AM

if you listened to the whole speech, it is fairly clear that the last third of the speech which included this point was intended for the average Russian citizen.
There is no better time to make this direct point to the Russian people, then when their self-appointed dictator is driving them off the cliff.

of this crisis. Putin's grip on power has been enabled by the kind of hopeless, pervasive cynicism in Russia where "nothing is true and everything is possible".
I don't know who wrote the speech, but this is the kind of messaging they need to hear over and over again.

Mar 27, 2022, 3:09 PM

Because I thought it was poorly thought out too.
Others have already pointed out how this messaging will be framed by the time it makes it to the average Russian citizen. You have to understand that they have been conditioned by decades of propaganda to believe that the West, and the US in most instances, is at the root of all evil. This isn’t some ticking time bomb of citizens’ unrest just waiting to go off if we send the right messaging. They firmly believe that we are the bad guys and synaptic misfires like Joe’s just gave Putin a wealth of ammo to say “see, they want to control who leads you”.
There’s no logical way to argue that Joe did well with that obvious gaffe.

Between Reagan, Trump, and Biden, I'd say Biden's was easily the least threatening.
At the end of a thread in his speech about our issue being not with the Russian people and how much they were going to suffer for their long-time authoritarian leader's mistakes, the point was an honest assessment about their future:
"For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power"
