Best release an actual head coach has ever seen yet during the Duke game Brian Griese was trying to tell everyone how Trevor needed to work on his release and it was too much of a windup.

That was an interesting comment during that game. And then Griese "proved" his point by showing Lawrence leisurely lobbing passes during pre-game with a slow arching motion, obviously just warming up. Hopefully TL does continue to get even better though!

Most all QB's have that issue and it's not a 'fix' that will be hard for TL to correct. He wasn't close to being negative about TL.

Video- that’s absurd in the first place but the bigger issue is he should know that it doesn’t matter what a release looks like. The things that matter are:
1)how quickly does the ball come out
2)is the release point high enough
3)how quickly does the ball hit the receivers hands
There have been other color analysts this year that have shown actual game video with a timer on how quickly the ball comes out, the mph and timing of how quick it it is in the receivers hands. They even pointed out what that means to something as simple as a screen pass. All the #s show TL as elite of elite when stacked against the pros. If you want to find something for TL to work on- point out deep ball accuracy and I mean the 45-50 yd flies not the 35-40 yd outs that nobody else can comprehend making and talk about pocket presence. Those are legitimate things where there is room for growth.

It is simply holding the elbow on the throwing arm up higher . Keeping the ball as forward on the load as possible .
If it needs to be corrected , some NFL coach will be handling that .
TL needs to put on 15-20 lbs and keep doing his thing . He good .
