We may never have another Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawrence and we also may never have Caden Grice or Valerie Cagle. Cagle led us to great places in our first 4 years of softball and Grice is not done yet and hopefully the road will lead to Omaha this year.

Tell me you know nothing about Clemson baseball history without telling me. (and that is not a knock on Grice in any way, shape, or form).

I still think Khalil Greene is the best player in Clemson history. Dealt with a lot of anxiety and issues in the pros, but he was National player of the year quality if I'm not mistaken. He was legitimately the best player in the country in my eyes.

Never heard anything negative about him just know he struggled. Wish him the best. I'm assuming you've interacted with him post MLB?

Sounds about right. He never wanted to be superstar or in the media from what I've heard. Humble ball player. Born in the wrong era.

I still hope he had a line of chicks out his door back then though. Pretty sure he never had to ask.

He has severe clinical anxiety issues, which I probably would have been more flippant about until having a child with similar issues. Pretty incredible what he did accomplish under the circumstances.

Same. As someone who dealt with family having the same issues it takes a while to really understand how hard it is on them. Sometimes getting out of bed is hard. Mental health awareness is very important. Can't imagine the stress of also being on display for millions.

I'm sure he did. That never changes unless he was in a relationship. I've heard rumors to this day that CJ Spiller had an option of older and younger "staff" that he could pick and choose.
That being said, I'm not accusing. But I do personally know it went on at UF having friends that were aware of stars receiving "special attention"

To be fair, CJ seems to be a man of God and is an outstanding man. I can't see him turning down some of the fine Clemson women that were just waiting for an opportunity though 😂.
Kyle parker is another example. We played ball together and he was lining up women that could fill the stage on miss USA. It was unreal

There have been a lot of great players come through Clemson but it is inarguable that Khalil Greene was the best. He's so far above it is ridiculous. Even having only played 5 seasons, people still consider him the best San Diego shortstop of all-time. I know that doesn't reflect directly on his time at Clemson, but it does show just how good he was. It's actually quite sad to think about the potential legacy he left behind in MLB. But he left nothing open for debate with his time at Clemson.
edit - he was National Player of the Year, btw
