What ever happened to Chad Smith? Just can't compete with the talent coming in? I thought he would've made some sort of impact by now.

A great LB as well. Chad will get playing time this year and will be a big time player for us and a leader just as he was recruiting others the last two years.

Why does DM (Daniel Shirley) 200 miles away

get great interviews and writes very good stories from the Clemson slant? I would say, as good as, or better than the local beat guys. I have enjoyed all of his articles and feel like I just read a professional product every time he is published on Tigernet. Keep them coming DM.

I love our Tigernet beat writers but noticed a lot of good articles by this guy. I also noted he has a radio show in Macon. Wish we could get one in Lexington for the drive in or out of cootville. Wish they would move Elswann into a better time slot. He is the real deal and has a good show but on a weak channel.

The leadership that's being developed among the players

by this staff is amazing. Training with and learning from the very best, from the sidelines to the field, then becoming a leader of your own for the next round, well it explains a lot about those talented kids that are willing to commit with so many other talent in front of them. Iron sharpens iron, and college is a long journey.

Kendall was the one who knocked out the woman-beater right? I was just watching some interviews / highlights on Kendall... He's a big-time contact guy. And if Venables says he's ready, that gets me even more excited!
