Warren Buffett suggested (years ago) that all members of Congress be replaced if the DEFICIT is ever more than 3% of GDP. So what does an astutely aware Congressman do when confronted with this populist idea?

No, don't fall for this garbage. What he is proposing will do ZILCH to lower our DEBT, which is status quo. It will help control interest payments (they will rise less rapidly), but that's all it does. Congress can, and has, legislated deflationary policies for decades now, to keep inflation low, so debt is cheap to service. So they can get reelected spending more and more on their constituents.
The problem is DEBT, not inflation. No debt, inflation matters less. Furthermore, since we have a President now doing a job THE CONSTITUTION deemed should be done by Congress, Trump's tariffs alone can push inflation higher than 3%. So you get a President who wants to destroy Congress, his opposition, the check and balance for his power, you jack up tariffs, spike inflation, and bewm, you have control over Congress. BAD IDEA, 3 ways to Sunday.

Musk and Buffett obviously want a lot of people to die. If the lefts making up 300k dead based off a tiny sliver of the budget being cut just imagine the numbers they'll be making up if we ever actually cut what was needed to balance the budget.
