Great 2nd half for men's soccer....

and we missed another ACC championship by an inch. But give me an elite 8 or better and that will be an afterthought. Noonan has once again built one of the best teams in the country come regular seasons end. The development of freshman Gyan, Magnuson, and Musah(sp?) has been outstanding. And how about our backup keeper Donovan!! When Andema went down I thought it was going to be rough but this kid has stepped right in and made some all american type saves in every game. You see the leadership there too.

Now we await the NCAA selection at 1PM today. Last year they completely hosed us as we were clearly the hottest team in the country the entire second half of the season. They seem to really have a problem with their selection criteria one of which is an RPI model that can heavily favor small programs. Also I believe it's only like 4-8 coaches that make the choices. Seems maybe some of them have an agenda. I don't know. But hopefully this year they will make up for last year's failures. I think our body of work deserves a top 4 seeding but clearly we should be top 8. It would be nice if there was some transparency and each coach's selections were made public.

I really think the sky is the limit for this team regardless. Early season I was thinking I would be happy if we made the sweet 16 but we have surged big time. Looking forward to multiple games at Riggs and can't wait. GO TIGERS!!!!!
