Those 3 accomplishments equals a good season in my opinion. Not a Great season but a good season. Had we beat the Coots a game I still feel like Clemson is better than the Coots it would have been a great season. That was a game I felt our coaches gave to the Coots. The better team didn’t win. But oh well we saw this season deliver another Clemson championship! Another 10 win season and delivered a great QB in Cade. Few coaching changes and Cade coming back and I will like Clemson chances next season to again make the playoffs.
But the season is over and we’ve got a great looking basketball team that looks like a NCAA team. Thats something to be excited about!
Also I can not wait for baseball season that program is headed in the right direction!
Yes - there were some disappointments. Yes - some very real frustrations (VERY real). Some things I didn't agree with or understand. Still, on the whole, it was a GOOD season with plenty of bright spots, and I enjoyed it! Every Clemson fan should have.
No matter what, even when BEST is the standard, every season will not result in an undefeated record and a national championship; in fact most will not, and won't be close. We sure didn't threaten any of that this season, BUT . . . it was far from a BAD season. #### people, keep things in perspective.
Message boards aren't reality, as voices of buffoons and trolls can dominate. Knee-jerk anger and frustration is almost always louder than reasonable perspective and reflection.
This was a very good season. Still some things that need to be improved and fixed, no doubt, but we have a coach who literally built this thing out of real disappointment and frustration, with a clear vision and a real plan, and it worked - big time. Yes, to deny that the last few years there's been some drop off would be dishonest, but this year was a step forward.
