Grabbed some cheap food at the Jade Express that opened up by the Furman Publix. The food was fine, nothing to write home about, clientele and workers were something else though. Came home and watched a movie or something.
Saturday, decided to drive out to M2 lumber so see what kinda stuff they had.
https://www.m2lumber.com/
A nice little drive out to Laurnes. I like driving through the country but not sure I want to be quite as remote as those folks are for day to day life. Got some cherry, walnut, and maple. Came home and ended up doing not much of anything else.
Sunday, up to Clemson as some friends had spare tickets to the gymnastics meet. I didn't know much of what was going on but it was a fun couple of hours. That is the first real event I'd been to in Littlejohn since I graduated, all other visits have been bathroom breaks while checking out the tiger tailgate show.

Friday – Drove from Sugar Mountain to Clemson. 50+ degree temp change. Had some Little Pigs q for dinner.
Sattidy – Watched the Fightin’ Brownlees light up the 3 point basket. Nice road win. Got my hairs cut.
Sunday – Worked out, watched a bunch of PGA Tour players I’ve never heard of go at it in Messico. Cooked up some delicious Steelhead Trout for dinner.
10/10 (19/19 on the RH Covids scale). Wood due a gin.

Fri at noon - worked on the boat for a couple hours and put it in the water. Hit 65 mph but got a little squirrely. Picked up kids and met wife at Earl Street for dinner. Watched a movie before bed.
Sat - Took McJr to soccer practice. Played outside with kids, cooked my first cooked lobster.
Sun - Church in the morning, Mom's for lunch and played an epic game of wiffle ball. Worked 2 more hours on the boat last night.

Pretty slow weekend
Fri - Grabbed some take home from a Greek food truck. So good I don't even remember it.
Sat - Supposed to go out surveying with a buddy but woke up with a little chest congestion. spent the morning coughing and hacking. Finally said that's enough. Went to the likker store and got some Bulleit Rye (oh, and a bottle of Angel's Envy). Mixed up some honey, rye and lemon and crashed on the couch.
Sun - Felt well enough to go to church. Seems a lot in the congregation did not. lots out with the flu. Went grocery shopping. Drank some more of that rye. And then a couple more. Spent the rest of the afternoon with more Peaky Blinders.
Back in the saddle at work, A little morning congestion, but far better than Saturday morning.

Friday...had consult with ortho surgeon in G'ville. Getting ankle scraped and ligaments rebuilt at the end of March. Better than fusing ankle, which is what I thought doc was going to recommend. Don't remember much else from Friday.
Saturday...Projects around house, watched Clemson BB get a good road win. Dinner at home. Watched a lot of Peaky Blinders episodes.
Sunday...church and lunch with daughter-of. Watched some college and NBA BB. Knocked off a few more items from honey-do list. Booked a cruise for fam for July (FML...not what I want to do for a 7 night vacay).

Went to Rocky Mount for a Volleyball tourney. Daughters team was the 6 seed overall, top in their pool. Swept day 1 without dropping a set, beat one team 25-2 in a set. Went to bracket play on day two and got to the championship game without dropping a set, but lost 25-23 and 25-22 in the championship to the overall 1 seed. We did some research and it appears as though the team they lost to have not lost a set yet this year. Oh well. This was the best they played as a team and was great to see them be really successful.
That and sleeping in hotels, drinking vodka or red wine in hotel lobbies and hitting up super crowded restaurants pretty much sums up my weekend.
Home Sunday afternoon to play with the new pup, dog sitter loved having a puppy to play with too.

IT'S BEEN A HELLUVA WEEK!!!
Tuesday, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers at The Neighborhood Theater with local faves Modern Moxie opening. Fantastic small stage show and it was packed for The Disarmers farewell tour.
Thursday, Uncle Lucius with Cole Phillips opening at The Visulite. Phillips is a young up and comer from Oklahoma. Needs a little polish but the kid writes nice songs. Uncle Lucious has been a bucket list band for years and did NOT disappoint!
Friday, Xtreme World Wrestling at Lenny Boy Brewing in Charlotte, best show yet. I got injured when JP Lehman got thrown over the rail and landed on the chair next to me and rolled off onTO my ankle. It's been black and blue for three days now but IT WAS GLORIOUS!!!
Saturday, grocery run to Walmart and a meat run to Lidl, turns out Lidl has some good meat at great prices, and loaded up the freezer. Bought a whole chicken for $5.00 and roasted it Saturday night with taters, carrots, mushrooms, and onions with enough left over for two more meals. Watched AEW then crashed.
Sunday, chilled out most of the day then up to The Thirsty Beaver to see Vaden Lander bring the old-school honkey tonk. Great show but we left a little early and went home using leftover chicken for chicken salad sandwiches. The last of it will become chicken alfredo tonight.
Tired this morning from running all week but 1900/19 Covids.

Fun but kind of a ripoff. Picanha's delish. When I got home I let the dogs out, settling the mystery of who did it once and for all. I was walking around my patio when I slipped on ice and busted my ###, raking my arm across the yuge rocks surrounding my firepit. Nothing broken, but my arm is messed up from wrist to elbow. Can't remember the last time I was soundly defeated by gravity.
Saturday = grocery shopping. It was employee appreciation day at the supermarket and they had a DJ pumping jams. It was odd.
Sunday I picked up some new tropical fish. I needed to introduce some female platys to balance out a disparity and hopefully resolve some male aggression. Slow cooked a whole turkey breast via snake method on my Weber 22" kettle. (It wasn't smoked per se since no wood was used.) Mashed some taters and made stuffing and gravy. Thanksgiving in February. My two cents: People insist on brining turkey and it's totally unnecessary.

Friday - son did a sleepover at a friend's house, so my wife and I took my daughter to dinner and then played games.
Saturday - gym time and then went to Red Wings game with the family. Came back and went to a chili cookoff and then a concert. Got SMASHED. No good. Drank way too much. Went home about 10pm and crashed. Luckily, I didn't do anything stupid or make the Uber driver mad.
Sunday - took my son to the gun range, which was AWESOME. Watched movies with my daughter, took my skis to get the sharpened/waxed/tuned up. Dinner was meh, some kind of gross chicken my wife tried to make.
Wife wasn't mad at me after Saturday shenanigans, so that was a win.

Yo, peeps,
My weekend was so thrilling I’m shocked I lived to type this. Behold, the epic tale of nothing: Started strong by challenging my ceiling to a staring contest. It won when I blinked to check if I still had eyelids—turns out, yes, but they’re unionizing for better hours.
Watched a fly do kamikaze loops around my lamp like it was training for the Insect X Games. I cheered until it dive-bombed my sandwich and claimed it as its swamp kingdom.
Scrolled my phone so hard I hit a meme from 2012—laughed at a dancing hamster, then cried because I peaked at “Gangnam Style” nostalgia.
Thought about cleaning, but my broom whispered, “You’re not my real dad,” so I yeeted that idea into next year’s problems.
Took a nap so legendary I woke up with pillow creases spelling “HELP” on my face. Pretty sure I accidentally joined the coma audition circuit.
What did you suckers do—anything dumber ?

Sunday groceries. Grandson came over and fixed furnace. Stepson was inspired and fixed kitchen sink drains with parts that have been waiting for two weeks. Looking for tools he ###### up our end of hall door. So fixed one thing and ###### up another. He is such a joy.
Dis mawning gots up and showered. Me was getting a rash between testickles and leg. Washing and clean dry FOLs haz me feeling wonderful.

Woke up Friday and sounded like a fog horn when I tried to talk. Hurt like the devil when I tried to swaller. Went to doc, negative for flu and covid. Told to treat the symptoms and ride it out. Made it to work today, feeling like a spaced out zombie, but all weekend I was a coughing, hacking, choking, spitting snot factory.

We are going on a 11-state road trip and visiting: Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Saint Louis, Memphis and Nashville.
We will be in Chicago for the dying of the river for St. Patrick's Day. We will be in Chicago for 3 days, Milwaukee for 1 day, Cincy for 1 day, Indianapolis for 1 day, Saint Louis for 2 days, Memphis for 1 day and Nashville for 2 days.
We also plan to visit Graceland, Harley Musuem, Grant Farm where the Clydesdales are at and do the Anheuser Bush tour. Lots of driving but we prefer that so we can stop at roadside attractions.

There were tons of things I memory banked to post here, by 1a Sunday morning, they were all gone in a drunken stupor
Friday - Steak for the fam and pretty disappointing 1 point Magic loss to the Grizz. Zach Eddy is really interesting to watch. If you thought he was too lumbering for the NBA, you were wrong.
Saturday - woke to oldest (KSynan) in tears. Teens vandalized her car overnight with something that looked like spray paint. Took acetane and goo gone to remove, and wrecked her emotionally
Went to Porchfest, 70 bands on 18 stages in downtown Sanford. Saw 7 magnificent acts. Other MSynan even joined me for the last two hours of festival. She brought me home 5 Guys. Watched City get crushed 4-2 on opening night wearing gift shirt from sis in law that will never be worn in match day again.
Somehow managed to avoid all news outlets, so late night watch of the fighting Brownlees go down to Dallas and kick the doodoo out of the Ponies. Friends wanted me to go to bar for late night band. Other MSynan said it would be a bad idea and she was right
Sunday - made chicken and dumplings for the fam. Watched nekkar and Magic win. Cops came and police report filed, but without any surveillance video, no hope of case panning out
18/19 COVIDS -1 for police involvement in my weekend
