Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Friday night, just relaxed a bit can't even recall what was on the TV.
Saturday headed towards Clemson at 10:30 got in some mighty fine tailgating with RH Tig that included surprise visitis from Lakebum1® and tigermanac® the football was what is was, but the key part of struggle win is win, even if it it time to admit this team is not what we'd hoped for and will have to truly work to with the ACC.
Sunday, went to Greenwood to visit with my mom.

Friday was dinner and a movie with kids, stayed up late to watch half a movie with MsLovin
Saturday - Went to Clemson and one of the first things I spotted was that orange bus (Willmo®). We tailgate about 5 mins away. Ate some brats and threw the football with McJr. Went into game early b/c "it will take forever to get in" and set a record time. Left at lightning delay. Picked up pizza from Papa in Anderson. Watched the ending at home.
Sunday - Church in the morning, kids and I washed the tractor, played outside with kids and MsJr learned how to drive a 12V jeep and gator.

survived...still surviving. Headed to work in a few but that may be a good break from the weekend!
But, looking to (possibly) sell the house. Dad sold his on Friday. Was going to sell it to me last summer for 180K. Before it was officially listed, he sold it on Friday (cash offer) for $275k.
Did talk to a good man about a couple of acres up in the Franklin, NC area. Looking to possibly retire there in a few years. Nice mountain views.
And, there was College football! The good, the bad, the ugly... but it was fun!

Friday evening - not much.
Saturday - watched Liverpool win, did some yard work, bitched about a Tiger win
Yesterday - took the kids to the park, cleaned a bit in the garage, Lowe’s trip for random #### I may or may not need, and rubbed down the Boston butt for entry into the smoker at 5 this morning. Good thing sometimes, working from home…I can make da q any day of the week now.

Friday I don't really remember but we did go to D!ck's to get a volleyball net. I said this $90 net that we went specifically to get would cost me over $200 and wife ASSURED ME volleyballs don't cost that much. After we checked out, the total was $235. She needed some extra things apparently.
Saturday up to Run trails and let the kids ride bikes. They fought the whole time. Grabbed lunch at Chuy's and then home to get ready for Clemson game. Dog puked in car and wife got paranoid that he was overheated from our run. So we stop at the 24 hour vet which, thank Tom, happened to be closed. So she continually freaked out from him getting carsick and being tired (because it was hot out and he did 6 miles then chugged water and threw it up). In her head he was dying. Stopped at store, got thermometer to stick up his ######## to check temp, totally normal temp. Got home and showered and to a friends house to watch the Clemson game JUST BEFORE the rain delay. Drank 4 beers, got ready to leave and come home just after they started back after the delay. Got home and watched that ######## from the couch. Kids fought the entire time.
Woke up Sunday to Wife having a freakout that the house was a mess and we had tons of laundry. Kids started fighting and we cleaned the house for 5-6 hours and did laundry. I cut grass, came back inside to kids fighting and wife about to lose it so I cleaned some more. Cooked a pot of vegetable soup just to freeze for later and cooked dinner for everyone including Mom and Brother. Went to sleep last night around 1030 and woke up this morning to the kids fighting and getting them ready for school.
Parenting is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!! Everyone should have kids. And if you cannot have kids, I will give you mine.

In a sense of woke political correctness, I mean.
Friday, went to visit RH Mom after work, she had decided to not go to Clemson Saturday in view of the fractured ribs. We had her on standby for Saturday morning in case she changed her mind, otherwise I would have had 2 tickets beside us and a parking pass beside us for some lucky WSUX listener. Back home for for a barbecue chicken pizza on sweet potato crust. It was a frozen gluten-free model I got for the Mrs. but danged it it wasn't a good pizza. Packed up bass and headed to the studio for a couple of hours of unplugged skull session. Spent 2 hours on 2 new songs getting the arrangements down. Left pretty happy with what we accomplished and in bed by midnight.
Saturday, Mom stayed the course on not going to the game so just Joonyer and me this week. Nice tailgate turnout with aerozeptallica, tigermanac®, and Lakebum1® in attendance. Crispy chickern sandwich from UiagaleleiJangles in Pendleton, then sat through what can only be described as the single weirdest Clemson football game I have ever witnessed. After 6 hours of it, we drove a brazillion miles and hour and got home at 11. Slammed a couple of shots of Rebel Yell (for my rheumatism, of course) and crashed.
Sunday slept in, a few house chores, game recap with RH Mom, a grocery run, then walked down to the river with the pup and met Mrs. coming back from work on the island and walked her back. Fired up the grill for steaks and stuffed portabellos. Fell in the Big Chair and watched Walking/Talking Dead, and then crashed.
I think MAYBE I'm done talking about the game this week, but I will answer any chicken sandwich questions you may have. A 'W' is a 'W' so I'll go with 18.92/19 Covids for a final tally.

Pool rentals, archery tag, direct parking for disc golf tournaments...stuff like that. Not a bad retirement gig, she gets a couple of 6 or 7 hour shifts most weeks and can walk to work in 5 minutes. Plus she's not seasonal like a lot of the staff. They have events and rentals year round.

Friday - Grand-daughter tested Covid +. I always over worry when it comes to the kids. She's fine. Just body aches and sore throat,
Saturday - Our defense is still O for end zone. Unfortunately the offense is pretty close to perfection also.
Sunday - Went to the Van Gogh show in Charlotte. It was really good. Bummed around town for a bit and had some beers. Took a short nap while the chauffeur drove us back home.

Decent....

Friday...met wife and daughter-of at Mexican for dinner. Cam home and did some prep for gameday. Watched something with wife and hit bed.
Saturday...got up feeling good and ready for game day. Took son-of with me to game. We got season tix and a parking pass from some friends. Parking is in Lot 12. I did some serious underestimated of the walk from there to lot 8 (tailgate)/stadium. Huge miscalculation on trying to wheel a decent sized cooler from there to lot 8. Got to lot 8 sweaty and winded. Hung out with good friends for some hours pre-game, threw the football around with son-of in front of Sirrine, look at a lot of scantily-clad women...some pulled it off...many did not. Not a fan of current college girl fashion for 95% of the girls wearing it.
Game was...well...it was what it was. Ugly offense and pretty defense for most of the game. Short passing game looked horrible and GT was giving us the short-game all day. Left at the delay and caught entire 2nd half on TV at home. Next week's game at NC State is going to be interesting.
Sunday...took wife-of out to breakfast, did some grocery shopping, watched a lot of football and fantasy team has a commanding 63 pt lead heading into tonight and opponent has Jones and Tonyan for GB. Made some healthy ramen for dinner. Watched very entertaining Sunday night game and hit the bed.

My MIL said "That's a student" (she works on campus). She was dressed like Cruella De Vil.
My wife said "Some of these girls booties are showing" and McJr (age 7) chimed in "I saw boobies!".

Was that all of them in that Facebook pic you posted? Tell the dude with the checkered shirt that I have the same one. I'm gonna guess that younger big beard was Lakebum1®, older big beard was RH Tig, and checkered shirt was tigermanac®.
Good weekend. Lots of great football and friends and beer. The game pissed me off all around. I haven't been that mad over a win in a long time. But it's a W.

rained all weekend...maybe since Thursday. still raining
Fri - cooked a steak w/ the wife. got an order from naked wines. decent selection, decent prices. I think Costco is still the breadwinner from a wine selection and cost perspective though...only challenge is Costco is like 40 min away
Sat - lounged around and watched football. our game was tough to watch. spent some time w/ FIL as MIL came up to take wife to a spa day. trying to get some time in the bank for some fall golf and mornings in the duck blind
Sun - NFL breadzone. made some money (the over on KC / Bal was easy pickins). got out of the house to go to the grocery store. i hate going to the grocery store on a sunday.
baby slept through the night Thursday night, which was tight. then up Fri / Sat nights. Last night was pretty good - woke up at 2 then slept until 7 which was nice.
