Won't lie, I cried reading it. My heart aches for him. Incredible letter. I pray that Clemson fans in a position to help will reach out to this wonderful young man. I know I'd seek him out in a skinny and offer him a job as soon as he gets that sheepskin. Certainly an asset wherever he lands. Who knows, maybe he'll decide to be a G.A. with us.
I, among many TIGERS felt this was going to be a breakthrough year for Z.

Hasn't Tnet been saying all Spring that he was completely healthy and coming back better than ever? Hard to see this announcement and not call into question the validity of any offseason health news.

Tough break for him and the team. I appreciate him working hard trying to come back from 3 shoulder injuries, but understand his decsion. Glad he will stay to help in any way while getting his degree. Good luck Lannden!

I'm sure that this decision did not come easily. No doubt, there was a time when he envisioned playing at the next level, which was probably not an unrealistic goal for such a talented young man. I'm glad that he chose Clemson from among all of the colleges that recruited him, and thank him for all that he gave to our football team. But what I appreciate the most is his outspoken appreciation for all of the people who have helped him on his football and life's journey. I trust that he will indeed finish his degree studies, and take up a lifetime game, like golf, that is not so physically demanding on his body. Should he bother to read the posts on Tigernet, I want to say good luck, thank you, and may God bless.

I'm pretty surprised to hear this considering he was on Twitter last week saying he was back healthy and ready to ball out this season. Unless he suffered some type of setback within the last 5 days this doesn't make sense to me. That being said, I wish you the best LZ and hope u achieve all the success u deserve.
